Barth Vernon UMC once again served as a host church site for Project Transformation. We were their only youth site for the summer of 2015.
We continued, through our partnership with Open Table, to serve as a twice monthly Resource Shelter for our homeless friends.
Shelter statistics for 2015:
- open 22 nights
- 352 guests given meals, showers and clothing
- 68 haircuts given
- 97 guests received foot care
- 19 guest moved into permanent housing
In 2015, Barth Vernon became an official Pencil Partner with Charlotte Park, working to support our neighborhood school.
We continue to partner with Belle Meade UMC in numerous ways to better serve our community. Our partnership has been a blessing for both congregations.
